Gino's story - written by Aholland
Gino sighed as he checked his micro computer yet again. Many gamers were waiting, and asking him a lot of questions. Most questions about the soon to be released games. He had not played many of them. He hadn't had a chance to check them out. He was on his way to a subscriber's home to help him personally with a problem. This person seemed to be unable to leave his home and needed someone to wait in line for his reserved copy of a game. Gino hated crowds and standing around. He decided he had better help out though. He would be remiss in his duties if he did not.

Gino hoped on his scooter and made his way through the city. He parked out side the person's home and went to the door. There was no answer. He knocked again and heard a buzzing sound. He carefully opened the door and looked in.

"Hello?" He called.

"Back here." Came a voice from the back of the house. He hesitantly went in and followed the voice. He found a young man in a back room in a bed. He had casts on both legs and had a T.V. and system set up in reach.

"Thank you keeper Gino for coming. I would go to wait and pick it up my self but I hurt myself and my family member that comes to take care of me is to busy. I didn't have the heart to ask them for help." He sighed

Gino gave him an understanding smile. He took the money he was handed and left. He drove his scooter all the way back to the shop and joined the line. He stood there the rest of the day and into the night. It was midnight by the time he got inside the building.

Gino walked up to the counter and gave him the man's name. They asked for ID and Gino was stunned. He wasn't the one that had placed the order. It was nighttime and the man was probably asleep. What was he to do? He sighed and explained. He was told to stand off to the side. As he waited he feared he would fail the man that had trusted him. They closed as he waited there and he sat just outside till the next morning. He tried again explaining. By this point the man was getting worried. So was Gino. He waited through a whole day as those that worked at the store discussed what to do. At about nine the next night they finally decided to call the man. He waited as they called and talked to him. Finally Gino was able to buy the game and take it back to the man. He smiled as he drove home. To him it was a job well done.
