Mudawar's story - written by DDL
Mudawar, the keeper of Adoptions, was having another rough day. He had 12 little ones that still needed a home, and he only had 2 more days to find them one, or they'd go to the State. He dreaded going to see the little ones. He loved them dearly, but he couldn't adopt them himself. Just as he was about to leave his office, he noticed a young couple sitting in the waiting room, looking at the remaining little ones' pamplets. His heart skipped a beat. Maybe, they would adopt one.

Mudawar walked over to the couple. "Excuse me, are you looking to adopt a child?" The couple looked up, smiling and nodded their heads. "Well, you've come to the right place. Why don't we go into my office, and we can discuss the adoption." "Alright." The couple stood up and walked into his office, sitting down across from his side. Mudawar took his place, shuffled some paperwork, then looked up at the couple. "Right, so what are you looking for in a child?" The female smiled. "Actually, we've already chosen what child we'd like to adopt." "Really? Fantastic! What child?" "These children."

She pushed all twelve pamlets infront of Mudawar. Mudawar coughed, and looked up at the couple. "All twelve children?" "Yes." "Alright, let me just figure up how much this is going to cost." Mudawar punched some numbers into a calculator, and looked at the number. "They adoption fee of all twelve children is a total of 1.5 million." "We were told that it was only going to be 500 thousand. That's all we have." Mudawar's eyebrow twitched like it always does when he's trying to think of something.

"You know what, they need a home now. I'm going to front the remaining money myself." The couple looked shocked that he would even offer to do such a thing. "They have two days left, and that will be what it takes to finish the paperwork. Why don't we go and visit with the children for now, and you just get aquinted with them, and I'll work out the paperwork." "Thank you!" Mudawar took the family to the children, and within two days, all twelve of them had a new home.
