Elsie's story - written by ErianaMoon
Elsie was wandering down the street with her nose in a book, as it usually was, when saw a yard sale. She loved yard sales she could often find all kinda of little treasures. Carefully putting her marker in place and closing her book she wandered over. She let her eyes glide over the usual old glass wear and wedding gifts the couple had never used. She absentmindedly ran he hand along the back of an old sofa. Then there is was... A bid box of old books. She walked over and knelt down in front of it. Much to her dismay most of the books were in very bad shape. She was glad they had been well loved but it saddened her that people didn't take better care of their books.

She carefully tucked her own book in to her left boot and began looking threw the box. As she gently moved the books in the box around she uncovered a wonderful surprise. A first edition copy of I, Robot. Amazing! This book was such a find. But as she picked it up the cover fell off and the book fell apart at the binding. "Oh goodness." She couldn't help but exclaim aloud in dismay. Gingerly she gathered up the parts and carried them to the owner.

"I would like to buy this please."

The owner scoffed. "That piece of junk? It belonged to my ex wife. The whole box of them did. $5 for the box, just get them out of here." Clearly the owner didn't know what he had but he was mean and bitter so Elsie simply bought the box.

"Now.... what to do about fixing this?" She wondered to her self.

Then she remembered the wonderful gift Gino had given her a few days ago. She set the box down at her feet and from her right boot she pulled the micro computer. She seemed to be using it a lot it really was helpful. She swiftly found the nearest book repair shop. She took the books to the shop and soon they were good as new.
