Beth's story - written by Kahlira
Bubbles, bubbles, everywhere! mused Beth one spring day as she sat next to the spring. Looking in the water, she saw fishs! Oh how they frolicked and flit about with on another. She made a small bubble. On of the fish attacked it playfully. So much glee came from that fish that she made another. This time a few fish decided to play with the bubble. It looked like they were playing a game with the bubble, until it rose to the top and popped.Scrunching her nose, and concentrating hard, she made a durable bubble which would only ever come within an inch of the surface of the water, and no matter how many times the fish flicked it with their tails, it never diminished. Beth sat on the water's edge watching the small fish play for hours, laughing at their antics.

But then a larger fish arrived! The smaller fish swam away and hid. The big fish, why, he ate the bubble! How could he do that, Beth wondered. He could get sick, maybe even die if Beth didn't do something about this! It was hard, but with a major crinkle of her nose, and a bit of coaxing, that bubble shrunk down to nothing. The fish burped the tiny little bubble out. The smaller fish come out of hiding and started to laugh at the big fish. It swam away, and I made the small fish a new bubble to play with, knowing that if it got eaten again, then no fish would die because I could make it small again.
