It was a dark and rainy morning. Solara sat on top of the Great Cliff, hair drenched in rain, eyes focused on the heavens. She wouldn't sleep. Not until her task was finished.

Solara's older sister, Anyi, is the guardian of the Infinite Beyond. They share similar gifts in manipulating the space-time continuum and protecting the Earth from mayhem. Anyi was becoming quite bogged down with the heavy task of protecting the planet from comets. Just the other day, Anyi had to redirect a chain of hundreds of comets from hitting the Earth. Anyi was so tired that she asked Solara to take over for a couple days so she could rest.

"Solara, you're the Keeper of Time. If anything bad happens, you can just reverse time and prevent it from happening in the first place." She patted her head. "I know you can do it." Now, Solara is the sole Keeper in charge of protecting Earth. She watches with a careful eye towards the heavens, bending time to prevent the Earth from shattering.

Anyi had slept for four days, and Solara was becoming quite exhausted. Her entire body felt drained from the extensive use of her power. She laid on her back and watched the rain fall from the puffy gray clouds above. "Solara!" Anyi called, running up to her. "You can rest now. I'll take charge from now on." Smiling, Solara closed her eyes and let the raindrops trickle down her worn face. Her job was done. For now.
